Each week, a different artist is spotlighted in “The Eye of The Acoustic Storm.” Hourly segments of “The Eye” feature the artist’s music along with bio information and sound bites.
A 2004 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Jackson Browne has been writing, recording and performing songs for more than 30 years. In 2005, he released “Solo Acoustic Vol. 1,” featuring highlights from his solo tour, including Jackson’s solo acoustic version of “Take it Easy,” which he co-wrote with Glenn Frey of The Eagles. Two years later, Jackson followed up with “Solo Acoustic Vol. 2,” featuring stripped-down versions of “Somebody’s Baby” and “Redneck Friend,” among others. Another J.B. acoustic release is “Love is Strange,” reuniting Jackson with his old music pal David Lindley.
