1963 – Peter, Paul & Mary’s recording of the Dylan tune “Blowin’ In The Wind” is released.

1968 – The first Led Zeppelin concert under that name is held at England’s Surrey University although three days later they still perform as “Jimmy Page’s New Yardbirds”.

1977 – Paul Simon’s “Slip Slidin’ Away” is released.

1987 – Grateful Dead leader Jerry Garcia opens a sold-out two-week run of solo shows on Broadway.

1995 – Paul & Linda McCartney guest on Fox-TV’s “The Simpsons.”
