1967 – The cover of the Beatles\’ \”Sgt. Pepper\’s Lonely Hearts Club Band\’\’ album is staged and photographed at Chelsea Manor Studios in London using collage and wax figures from Madame Tussaud\’s famous museum. The actual cover is a painting of that photograph.

1977 – The Eagles\’ \”Hotel California\” sits atop the Billboard LP Chart.
